Jill Brake

Owner / Manager

I have owned Cottage Flair for the past 13 years. I love quilting, love customers and love my business. We are continually growing and creating fresh ideas to motivate you. I believe that good style, product and displays make a difference in attracting customers and inspiring you to want to make quilts and craft. We have created a place that is fun, has a warm friendly atmosphere and helpful service. I have a team of wonderful girls who are very dedicated to Cottage Flair . One thing I really love is my Pfaff sewing machine!!
Shelley Jolley

I have been married for 22 years with three children, a grand mother to one baby boy and soon to be a grandma again. I have sewn for as long as I can remember with learning to sew on my nanas sewing machine and making dolls clothes. In later years I moved on to dress making for myself and others. Since Cottage Flair was born I have made many different crafts and over the last eight years have done lots of quilt making which has been very rewarding.
Cindy Spence

Hi my name is Cindy and Ive been stitching for as long as I can remember, at 4yrs old I was making doll clothes, I remember cutting into fabric being sure not to cut the pretty stitching my mother had done(smocking for my twin sisters) to make doll clothes. I learnt to knit before I started school
(dad taught me) and was crocheting by the time I went to intermediate. I am always busy sewing, embroidering, knitting, crocheting, gardening and baking. Ive worked at Cottage Flair since July 2007 and enjoyed shopping here prior to that. I have 3 adult children, 7 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them and my partner Peter, dog Ben, and my hens, roosters and chickens!!
Suzie Nicklin

Hi my name is Suzie. I have enjoyed sewing for many years. I began patchwork classes about 10 years ago and have been hooked ever since. In recent years I have taken up Machine Embroidery which I love, particularly learning the software and the many features of my Pfaff embroidery machine. I love all aspects of craft and get lots of pleasure helping others with their projects and seeing the end results. Happy Stitching!!
Tracy Hearn

Having only dabbled in patchwork many years ago I was reintroduced to the craft early last year when I was asked to join a quilting group who met on Thursday evenings at Cottage Flair. Once I started I was hooked and now always seem to have several projects on the go at once. As well as enjoying a renewed interest in patchwork I also started working part time at Cottage Flair bringing my skills of financial and office administration to the team.
